Tips to Help Decrease the Chance of Your Vehicle Being Stolen

One of the first questions that a police officer will ask you if you report your vehicle as stolen is whether or not you are in possession of your keys. This is because most vehicles get stolen because of a simple slip up. No matter how advanced your vehicle is with safety and technology, forgetting your keys in your car or leaving your vehicle running while unattended can be a major mistake.

If you want to make sure that your vehicle is left alone, make sure that you never leave any valuables on the front seat or front dashboard. If you do, you're just tempting a thief who is looking for something to take. Make sure you don't keep any spare keys inside of your vehicle, and always lock up your vehicle when you are stepping away from it.
