Three Easy Tips to Safer Driving on Halloween

Costumes. Candy. Collisions. Halloween has all three. Unfortunately, as the children dart from house-to-house, they don't always think of cars driving by. As the driver, it's up to you to keep safety in mind.

You can do this in three steps. Step one is to slow down. In fact, drive a few miles under the speed limit. Step two is to open to look carefully. Several factors make it easy to miss seeing trick-or-treaters. Many of them are very small, and most of them aren't paying attention. They may run into the street, between cars or wear costumes so dark that they blend into the night. Step three is turn on your headlights, even if the sun is still shining.

Maybe candy isn't your thing, but you can treat yourself this Halloween. Visit Maserati of Wilmington Pike to see some great vehicles and take a few test drives.
